Don’s Automotive was founded in 1993 by Donald J. Prosser, a renowned figure in Long Beach, CA, known for setting a 140 mph record in his Top Fuel Dragster at Lyons Speedway in 1960. A skilled auto mechanic, Don opened Don Prosser Automotive, quickly earning a reputation for honest, quality service.
In 2000, George Aguilar joined the team, bringing 11 years of expertise in electrical systems and diagnostics. Together, they formed a strong partnership, delivering exceptional automotive care.
In 2013, Don passed away after a battle with cancer. To honor his legacy, Don’s Automotive LLC continues to serve the community with the same dedication and integrity that Don inspired.
George, the owner is a wonderful person. He is very helpful, honest and friendly. He is our go to person for our cars.
